1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Plainsight ("the Service"), operated at plainsight.cc, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Plainsight monitors publicly available online communities, uses AI to analyze posts, and surfaces trending insights and startup opportunities via a web dashboard and email digests.

3. Accounts

You may sign up using OAuth or subscribe to our email digest. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account or subscribing.

4. Free & Paid Plans

Plainsight offers a free tier with limited access to insights. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate displayed at checkout and processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal, and your access will continue through the end of the current billing period.

5. Email Digest

By subscribing to the email digest, you consent to receive periodic emails containing trending insights. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email. We honor unsubscribe requests immediately.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service
  • Resell or redistribute content from the Service without permission
  • Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal usage

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code of the Service are owned by Plainsight. AI-generated summaries and analyses are provided for your personal or internal business use. The underlying community posts analyzed by the Service remain the property of their respective authors and platforms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any insights or analyses. Plainsight is not investment advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plainsight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
